Objective-type | 100 Questions | 200 Marks | Duration: 2 Hours

🔹 Syllabus Topics:

Current events of national and international importance
History of India and Indian National Movement
Indian and World Geography – Physical, Social, Economic Geography of India and the World
Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector initiatives
Environmental Ecology, Biodiversity and Climate Change – General issues, that do not require subject specialization
General Science

✅ This paper is merit-based and used for screening to Mains.

🧪 CSAT – General Studies Paper II

Objective-type | 80 Questions | 200 Marks | Duration: 2 Hours | Qualifying: 33% (66 marks)

🔹 Syllabus Topics:

Comprehension
Interpersonal skills including communication skills
Logical reasoning and analytical ability
Decision-making and problem-solving
General mental ability
Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc. – Class X level)
Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, etc. – Class X level)

✅ CSAT is qualifying only—marks are not counted in Prelims merit.

⚠️ Important Notes:

Negative marking: 1/3rd deduction for every wrong answer
Medium: Both papers available in English and Hindi
Same-day exam: Both papers are held on the same day with a break in between
